This week has been one of the best weeks of my life. So many good things gave happened. (There were minor annoyances but that's all a part of the ride.)
I had my name and picture up on the Ripley's marquee in Times square. I tasted falafel ice cream, along with pickle and Carmel hot pepper. We enjoyed the exhibits together and then the day after we went to the concert. We were running late and I fought with someone, emotionally. It was so odd, like out of a movie, where I stated, "Look, she might not even notice me today. For all I know, she could be a total snob and not even sign it. But you don't know how much her music means to me. How much it's helped me get through the hard times. Hearing her live would be the best spiritual experience of my life. I can't miss it!"
So we caught up with the rest of the family...
Mom did one of those things where a woman asks another to go to the bathroom with them. Only its different cause I have to help push her there. So I'm helping her in when she offered me some shots. She was stressed, I was stressed from the day. It seemed like a fun idea, lol. So we drank up! One each. When we got out of the bathroom, mom said, "Is that Amanda?" We delayed enough to Catch Amanda Palmer!!! I was in shock. :D She signed the CD I just got from the sales stand (Amanda and Neil on tour), she signed the shirt right on my chest and she signed the most important thing, my uke. She even drew a heart on it. ♥ haha, I don't think I'll ever forget how she signed the shirt though. xD She looked me up, said, "Well, hello~ ;)", then signed it. xD
Amanda is one of the nicest celebrities I've ever met. We even took pictures together!
Hearing her live was amazing and beautiful. She even organized some other members on stage to perform with her in the audience, after the show. Listening to the ukulele anthem was like heaven. I'll never forget that day.
It makes me think that anything is possible and I can chase my dreams.
I shouldn't have even thought otherwise.

And now today is my birthday! Who knew that last years present, the Uke would become the best present I ever had this year. ;)
Monday I'm going to Queens to pick up my two free pints of ice cream. They e mailed me saying that if I picked it up, they'd throw in a few free cones. :P That's a cool bonus!
By the way, here comes, probably the most important detail of that morning when we had gone to the concert. We got the apt!
We get to start moving in today. And I think we will rent a truck to move in most of the stuff by August 6th.
